Beta Invites

Does anyone know if there have been beta invites in North America? Since Realtime Worlds is based in the UK I wasn't sure if they were inviting people from North America or keeping invites strictly to the UK.

They are currently going through phase 2 of the closed beta, which has a smaller population that phase 1, as they are testing more of the dynamic and higher spec features. Both phases have included EU and NA testers, though there is much more of an emphasis on EU as that is where the servers are located (less lag). That is all I can really disclose (and I know it's not much more than what people have already assuemd) at the moment, and I know it isn't much.

That's better than nothing. Thanks. Do you possibly know what's after this beta stage?

I personally am going to put my bets on that the closed beta will still be going on for a while, after all with the new delay. Don't see an open beta happening any time soon.
Not that that's a bad thing, closed beta is just such a crucial stage of development that it should be done very very extensively. After all in open beta you want to have all the features in and working, that's when the stress testing and minor bugs get discovered.

Still by all means I could be wrong.

Since APB is delayed there are going to be lots more invites, so look forward to that.

Plus, I think beta invites are based on your computer specs and then location.

So High specs, live in UK, you first.
High Specs, north america, you next.
