I do not mean to bash here but I do not understand why people say "Keep up the good work RTW."

The game was slated for 2007, then 2008, and now Q1 2010. And yet again is delayed until Q3 2010. Are you sure it is good work they are keeping up on... They never should have even gave an estimated release at all. I am positive this will lose them some fanbase, yet again.

If they continue this trend they will bury themselves and what seems to be a great game.

I just hope RTW know what they're doing and don't end up going bust because of all the postponing and delays, forcing them to abandon ABP before it goes gold and has a chance of seeing the light of day.

This is one of my points exactly. Since the creation of this game it has been a sinkhole as far as money goes, probably going to go down as one of the most expensive games ever produced. They can not afford to keep postponing this game any longer, especially being backed by EA. And even if the game turns out to be great, sometimes if you wait too long to release it there is always a chance that another game would have came out and look a lot of their steam away. I see this delay as a terrible decision on EA's part. Wait and see I guess.

As dissapointing as this may be - I also think that this is a good sign. They began closed beta... then obviously decided that the game wasn't where they wanted it to be - and pushed release back to give them time to get it to that point. I'm tired of MMOs being pushed out before they're ready, so i'm not entirely opposed to the delay.

Please remember when looking at this investor release, that it's talking in financial speak. When they say Q2 2011, we're talking FINANCIAL year 2011, which begins in April.

I'd also like to remind everyone that we've never officially announced a release date, so please don't worry, nothing is slipping. We're firm believers of games being ready when they're ready. We're not rushing anything, we're just making APB the best we can.

I'm reading through this thread and to be honest, I'm concerned by a number of the comments people have made, there really are many inaccuracies. It appears many people here have forgotten what APB is about. APB isn't a GTA clone online, it's not anything to do with Saints Row. APB is something new, it's something exciting, but most of all, it's fun.

I'm working with the admins of APB-E to start to get more information out to you guys as I know there's been a lack of it from us over the last few months. So keep an eye out!

Oh dear... I thought it was going to happen but 6 months after the original anticipated date....
They better make damn sure that the released product is worth the wait!
But the thought of an MMO having a summer release is great as I am sure there will be many free hours
