The Eminence - Criminal Organization

Hello,

Let me start by saying, we are avid PC gamers. The Eminence was founded in March 2004 with the intention to be a dominant force, and a respectable gaming community. Our main focus is MMORPGs. However, many of our members participate in FPS and RTS games. We are experts at whatever game we chose to ditch our girlfriends for. Our guild was a dominant force in games such as, WoW, Age of Conan, CS (invitational league). We also regularly partake in games such as, DoD:S (Realism), Bad Company2, DotA, and MW:2. Our future goal is to dominate APB. Our APB recruitment is currently: OPEN. We plan to play the Criminals.

To clarify, WE ARE NOT A MULTI-GAME GUILD! We play ONE MMORPG at a time, while taking FPS and RTS breaks during patches and server downtime.

This forum is a bit dead as it's my understanding that all the OGs have beta goin' on. Hope your gaming is serving a purpose and it'll be cool to see you ingame - friend or Enforcer.

I highly doubt anyone from that team is still in this "clan" unless you guys got the steam IDs to prove it.

The Eminence as a guild was not in a CS league. But, many of the people who are in the guild have played in various Cal-i tournaments.

I played for an east coast clan called Darkside, back before steam. I've played since beta (when AWP had a crosshair) and still play CS:S/1.6 on pubs time to time. However, CS:S is a joke of a game, all the pros still play 1.6.

I still like 1.5>source>1.6 (IMO). I just don't like the feel of 1.6 anymore since I started playing source. I agree 1.6 takes a little more skill but I also like not being shot through 3 walls. The way I think of it is that if everyone's good at source, its still an even match.

Pro-mod(which is pretty much 1.6 with the source engine) has been in the makes forever and they just released a beta. The reg is awful and its wayyyy too much like 1.6 then source(you can spray through walls, which is what I hate about 1.6). Though its not that bad. It still has a lot of kinks to be worked out, so its not going to be done till 2014.

Cal-i (invitational) league? You know, the one that comes after Cal-im (intermediate). I am surprised you've never heard of it. I guess since you think that pros spray through walls, this shouldn't be that much of a surprise. Cal leagues were very popular pre-1.6, and a lot of fun.

I guess it was before you time.

Its just bickering about terminology. Furthermore, cal-p wasn't added until later. And why would I mention leagues anyone could sign up and participate in, it doesn't sound impressive.

Edit: You can't seriously not understand this concept. As a guild we were not in any leagues, but a lot of the players who are currently in the guild were. This includes myself, so on and so forth.
